General:
This portable, battery operated capacitor discharge welding unit is used to attach thermocouple wire with 0.3 - 1.0 mm diam. to the workpiece surface.
Automatic discharge approx. two seconds after thermocouple wire is in contact with work piece and automatic recharging of capacitor makes it easy to use.
Comes with magnet, pliers and supply cable.
Safety:
Thanks to the intimate contact of the thermocouple wire with the surface whose temperature is beeing measured most accurate temperature readings are produced.
This low energy attachment results in a small HAZ of max. 0.2 mm and a weld penetration on the workpiece of max 0.1 mm.
Unit can be operated from built-in battery or direct from mains.
